GreaterQCRegion.org gets facelift
10/1/2011
October 1, 2011. Bi-State Regional Commission released a new version of the GreaterQCRegion.org data portal website today. The website is the single source for demographic and economic data about the Greater Quad Cities Region, comprised of five counties straddling the Mississippi River in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. The revised site features: • An updated home page • Simplified, yet enhanced data retrieval and visualization tools, featuring the ability to see the data as charts and graphs • More interactive mapping capabilities . . . users can get a “Quick Report” with general data and information about a location by clicking on that locality on a map interface • Expanded datasets on the website • Back-end data and content management improvements.
